Ever want to try real racing on a real track? Rental karts are a pile of fun but nothing compares to putting yourself in a brand new chassis on a real racetrack. Come experience the fun and adrenaline at the Vancouver Island Motorsports Circuit.
Come spend a day under our team tent where we will fit you into a modern day kart, no different than that of our team drivers. We can provide you with a race ready kart and guide you through the process of completing practice times, qualifying heats, prefinal and final races.
You'll get an instructional overview of how a track operates, how to understand track flags, how to drive safe and have fun.
Practice days are sometimes available the day before a big race. If you would prefer to try a kart on a more casual level, we can arrange that too.
How it works.
The arrive and drive program is a set fee of $450 which includes a kart, fuel, a race suit, gloves and helmet to use for the day. We will then send you a link to register yourself for a race via Hagerty Insurance's Motorsports Registration. Race day fees are typically $135.00.You can also opt to include a full practice day to your weekend for an additional $300 plus track fees of $75.
Once you are trackside, we will introduce you to our team and show you your dedicated pit space for the day. Our mechanics will have your kart prepped and ready for your race day excitement.
